Felucca Sailing Tour on the Nile in Luxor
A felucca is a wooden sailing boat used along the Nile in Egypt. Its rig consists of one or two lateen sails. They are usually able to board ten passengers and the crew consists of two or three sailors.
Despite being made obsolete by motorboats and ferries, feluccas are still in active use as a means of transport in Nile-adjacent cities like Luxor.
They are especially popular due to their quiet and calm mood, as opposed to motorboats.

6 Days Minimum Advance Booking Required. Reservation and pickup time/location must be reconfirmed by telephone at least 24 hours before the tour date. Tour includes complimentary pick-up at hotels, apartments or other public locations within the city of Luxor. Prices are per-vehicle for the number of persons specified, in US dollars and include the felucca boat ride, but not gratuity for your tour guide. There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

General Tour Itinerary
Your tour starts with pick-up from the pre-arranged location. Your guide will drive you the boat dock on the Nile River, where you will board the felucca.
Your felucca sailing tour on the Nile will be approximately one hour long.
Following the boat's return to dock, your guide drives you back to your original pick-up location.
